Service Structure for Respite Care
Respite Care is a temporary, short-term relief service that provides primary caregivers with time to rest, attend to personal matters, or take a break from their daily responsibilities. During this time, trained PSWs step in to ensure the individual continues to receive proper support, supervision, and companionship in a safe environment.
Service Settings
- In-Home Care Care provided at the client’s residence
- Facility-Based Care Temporary care in a specialized center (if applicable)
Duration Options
- Hourly Support minimum 2-4 hours per visit
- Overnight Care 8-12 hours
- Short-Term Extended Care several days to weeks, depending on need

- Bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
- Medication Reminders
- Ensuring timely medication intake
- Meal Preparation & Feeding Support
- Nutritious meal prep and assistance with eating

- Laundry, tidying, and maintaining a safe environment

- Dementia/Alzheimer Respite Care Trained PSWs for memory care
- Post-Hospital Respite Supporting recovery after surgery/illness
- Palliative/End-of-Life Respite Comfort care while supporting the family
