Respite Care is a temporary, short-term relief service that provides primary caregivers with time to rest, attend to personal matters, or take a break from their daily responsibilities. During this time, trained Personal Support Workers (PSWs) or care providers step in to ensure the individual continues to receive proper support, supervision, and companionship in a safe environment.
It is designed to reduce caregiver burnout while maintaining the care recipient’s health, comfort, and quality of life.
